His warm and friendly personality puts everyone on set at ease, and he always brings out the best in his subjects. A specialist in defense, lifestyle, and portrait photography, Rob brings a vision and skill set to companies who want to connect personally with their customers. Rob’s directorial debut was a high profile 2008 music video for Equity Records in Nashville, TN where he put country music singer Laura Bryna and her entire band on a stage, built on top of a C-130 aircraft. The three-day shoot ended up looking more like it was shot for the big screen than for television. After seeing Rob’s music video, award-winning director, Trey Fanjoy told Rob “you should be dumping Gatorade on yourself right now!” With that encouragement, Rob went on to shoot several critically acclaimed television commercials for the Air National Guard that were aired on network television and internationally on the Armed Forces Network. Rob lectures on marketing, creativity, branding, and balancing work and family as a guest speaker at several schools and workshops. Recently Rob spoke to over three hundred photography students at The Hallmark Institute of Photography and assisted in teaching several workshops at the Maine Media Workshops in Camden, Maine. |
